Proof that no talent is required? Here:

Even those cave-warriors in afganistan who know nothing about electricity or signal-encryption, who cant even spell intelligence gathering,
are apperantly completely equal in fighting skill to everything nato+allies
has to offer. Thus the 10 year stalemate.

What a bunch of deeply embarrassing amateurs...
Proud to wear a uniform? That sounds like something a mis-guided teenager would say. -You know, the kind who ends up shooting his classmates?

Why is ted allowing all these millitary freaks to smear their bloody hands all over their name?
This is the third.. "person".. in uniform I've seen on Ted this week...

What idea here is worth spreading exactly?

That even more people should be converted to soldiers?
That history class for deaf kids is a good place to recruit?
That deaf people who want to hurt others for money are honorable?

Any retard can get fragged for his country, or push a button to frag someone else. NO talent required.

To learn how you can help to support this movement: www.facebook.com/cadetnolan For more information about this event, please go to www.tedxislay.com. This speech was made at TEDxIslay in Los Angeles, California on April 23, 2011. All of the speakers were deaf. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
